Have you decided which driving group you need? If you still need some clarification, here’s an overview of all 4 of them:
AM
Se skupinou AM můžete řídit motorová vozidla s konstrukční rychlostí do 45 km/h. Typicky půjde o motocykly se zdvihovým objemem spalovacího motoru do 50 cm3 nebo s elektromotorem o výkonu do 4 kW. Podmínkou získání je dosažení věku 15 let.
A1
The A1 group allows you to ride light motorcycles with or without a sidecar with a maximum output of 11 kW, an output/weight ratio of 0,1 kW/kg or less, and a swept volume of its combustion engine below 125 cm3. You can also drive three-wheel motor vehicles with a maximum output of 15 kW. The minimum age required to get this license is 16.
A2
After obtaining the A2 group, you can drive motorcycles with or without a sidecar with a maximum engine power of 35 kW and an output/weight ratio of 0,2 kW/kg or less which have not been modified from motorcycles with more than twice the power. You can also drive group A1 vehicles.
A
Group A driver’s license allows you to ride all motorcycles with or without a sidecar. Furthermore, you can drive three-wheel motor vehicles with an output of more than 15 kW and four-wheel vehicles with an engine power of up to 15 kW and a weight not exceeding 400 kg (unloaded). Of course, all vehicles in categories A1 and A2 are included.

The price list is valid as of 15. 4. 2024. All prices include complete instruction and training as specified by the law as well as the 21% VAT.
Prices for driving courses include the costs of the final exam. The administrative fee in the amount of 700 CZK that must be paid to the Municipal Authority and the fee for translating the exam is not included. All teaching and training lessons have 45 minutes, as stipulated by the law.
